Herb Yang, P.Eng.- Sales Manager
Herb Yang is a registered Professional Engineer with APEGBC. He has a Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He has over 25 years of experience in Power Distribution & Motor Control, having worked at General Electric and Square D (Schneider Electric). Herb spent 22 years at GE Industrial Solutions and most recently was the Industrial Sales Director for Western Canada. Herb’s success was due to his ability to understand his customers’ needs and to offer creative & cost-effective solutions.Herb has worked on many different Power Distribution applications, including Commercial, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Mining, Pulp & Paper and Engineered Wood. Some of his major projects are: Barrick Gold – Pueblo Viejo Mine in Dominican Republic, Kinross Gold – Marlin Project in Guatemala, Southern Peru Copper – Cuajone Project in Peru, Catalyst Paper in Port Alberni, Weyerhaeuser in Prince Albert, SK, Kenora, ON & Grande Prairie, AB and Ainsworth Engineered Wood, Grande Prairie, AB.

Kevin Parlin, Sales Manager
Kevin Parlin is a journeyman electrician, electronics technician, and an instrumentation & process control technician. Trained at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Kevin has over 23 years of experience in the electrical industry ranging from commercial construction, to designing automated control systems for water treatment & waste water management plants, to sales of low, medium, and high voltage electrical distribution & control systems. Kevin spent 9 years at General Electric and most recently was the Sales Manager for British Columbia servicing the industrial markets. Brian Degen, Sales & Operations Manager
Brian entered the Electrical Industry in 1987 serving many different roles. He began his career as an Electrical Contractor eventually moving to Electrical Distribution where he worked the next 30 years starting from the warehouse to Outside Sales, Branch Manager, District Sales Manger and eventually Regional Project Manager. Jeff Campeau, Sr Account Specialist
Jeff Campeau has been involved in the electrical industry since 2001. He has worked in various capacities at different electrical companies. Jeff has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UBC. He completed a Distributor Management Trainee program and has achieved the Gold Status in the Electrical Product Education Course (EPEC) from the NAED. Jeff has a proven track record in developing customer relationships. Marty Leach, Sr Account Specialist
Marty entered the Electrical Industry in 2001 as an Electrical Apprentice in the commercial market where he earned his Red Seal certification. In 2009, Marty moved to Electrical Distribution working his way through the company to Outside Sales. In 2015, Marty joined a major Electrical manufacturer as an Outside Distributor Representative. Ben Jolicoeur, Sr Account Specialist
Ben started in the Electrical Industry in 2002 as a certified Red Seal electrician and has worked on the industrial, commercial, and residential projects. He moved into sales in 2018 working for a major electrical wholesaler covering the B.C. Interior. Ben joined SPS in February 2022 and covers the BC Interior. Michelle Beukers, Office Manager/Sales Associate
Michelle entered the Electrical industry in 2014, and for 7 years worked for two major Electrical Wholesalers. She comes with a CCP (Certified Credit Professional) Education and over 17 years experience in Credit and Finance. Michelle’s experience in the industry allowed her to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and business associates.
